I made it to the end of this quilt. It took a LOT of time and effort to get this finished up, correcting mistakes and working out ways to fix wonky borders. But it’s done and I have a load of ideas on how to finish its twin brother FAST!

I’m so close to finishing this, but I didn’t expect trimming to be such a difficult task. Really have no idea what happened to this quilt, but I was certainly glad when the trimming was finished!!

I’m still trying to finish the 2014 UFO. We’re discovering just how squint this quilt is as we try and quilt the final borders. Trimming this is going to be fun!

I’m still trying to finish the 2014 UFO. The bulk of the quilting is finished and we’re just doing the first red border here with an echoed straight line. Just wish I could sew that fast in real life 😂

After moving to a brand new house in 2018, I am finally decorating my sewing room. New paint, new shelves, new storage furniture, making mini quilts and a pegboard are all on my plan!

This has sat since 2014 in a cupboard desperate to be finished!! Finally, I am working on it and it’s twin brother in June 2020, trying to get them finished! These are my adventures as I unpick the mess I made as an inexperienced quilter 6 years ago!
