Things I’ve made

For a bit of fun, I did a community poll for my colour choices for this quilt. Turns out orange and navy were the winners. it just so happens that orange is my favourite colour so I was happy!

My first time curved piecing and this was a gentle introduction to curved piecing. I keep saying it but this might be my favourite quilt I’ve made.

Pushing myself right out of my comfort zone with shades of the same colour. I love the end result and the hard work paid off.

Paper templates for the first time in this stunning and completely different quilt pattern. A little scared at first, but it ended up being one of my favourite patterns to make.

When I first saw this pattern I immediately thought of stars in the universe. Bright colours make this feel modern and happy

Pattern test number three threw me in the deep again again with half-rectangle triangles for the first time, but the effect is stunning!

Lots of HST were called for in this pattern and I confess I wasn’t sure about the colours when I first saw them. But after it was done I knew it was the right choice!

My second pattern test saw me thrown in at the deep end with 12 colours and techniques I’ve never done before, still loved every minute of it.
