Welcome to my hub page for season 1 of Behind the Blocks. Everything you need for season 1 will be on this page.
Season 1 is about squares and rectangles, so all the blocks are beginner friendly. The blocks build on skills, so you will find that skills learned in the earlier blocks will be needed for later blocks. There are tips and hints in the video on how to make the blocks easier to piece and anything to watch out for. Every block is then used to make a beautiful sampler quilt which will be finished in time for Christmas 2021 (just in case you need a Christmas gift for someone).
I will publish the page for each block as the videos are published. Just follow the links to each block to get the instructions.
The fabric requirements for the entire season are available to download by filling in the form below

Don’t forget to share your blocks and finished quilts on Instagram using the hashtag #BTBSeason1 and tag me, @thecolourblindquilter so I can follow your progress.

They won’t cost you any extra, but they will help to support my website and YouTube channel if you click them as I get a small comission for any sales of a product.
